Heidi Thompson
We welcomed Heidi to the BHS Board of Trustees in the fall of 2024. Heidi is the owner of a recruitment company providing candidates for corporations and nonprofits. She received her MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School and worked for several years in the entertainment industry, most recently as the Director of International Business Development for Sony Pictures. In 2004, after starting a family, Heidi launched her own consulting business, driven by a desire to help people and impact the community. Her clients include a large educational nonprofit in Los Angeles and the Gates Foundation.
Heidi was raised in Louisville, Kentucky and got her undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Kentucky. She now lives with her husband in Manhattan Beach and enjoys tennis, pickleball, and yoga. She has three sons, two on their college surf teams and one on his high school soccer team. She is very active in various nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles.
