Blue Belly Lizard

The Blue Belly Lizard, also known as the Western Fence Lizard, is one seen all over campus. Here are a few fun facts about them. They are found mostly in California. They have Blue Bellies (hence their nickname). They love to sun themselves. Although their bite is not poisonous, please do not try to pick them up; their bite hurts! This guy looks big in the picture, but he's really tiny and deserves our care and respect.
