House Day Explained

On Friday afternoon we kicked off our House program with our first-ever Sorting Day. The event began with a ceremony in Hodges where 1st graders and new students were “sorted” into their houses. Students then enjoyed team-building activities for the rest of the afternoon. This popular BHS program is designed to provide connections across the grades and the community at large. We have four different houses named after our core values – Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Compassion. Students compete in different challenges throughout the course of the year in an effort to hoist the House trophy. The activities usually take place on a Friday afternoon. Please refer to the School Calendar for upcoming dates. Enjoy photos from the afternoon below.

Mr. Spencer, who leads the program as House Coordinator told the students, “Discover your core value and let it shine in your actions every day!”
