David Carter
Dave joined the BHS Board of Trustees in 2024. Most recently, he served as the Human Resources Director at The Buckley School, an independent K-12 school in Sherman Oaks, CA for more than 15 years. A native of Wisconsin, he graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a BS in Business Administration. He held positions in sales and Human Resources at AT&T in Milwaukee and Chicago before moving to Los Angeles where he married his wife, Carole. In LA, Dave continued to hold positions in Human Resources at AT&T and later at AON Human Capital Services, before joining The Buckley School.
In addition to being active in his church, Dave has been a Cub Scout leader for 4th and 5th grade boys and girls for more than 20 years. He is also the Treasurer for his Homeowners Association. As well as spending time with his wife, Dave enjoys hiking, mountaineering, and travel.
Located in Los Angeles, CA, Berkeley Hall School is a private, coeducational school for students in preschool through grade 8.
